Since 1997, HIBRIA rocks the world, defying the rules with technicality and speed.
The journey started in Porto Alegre with Metal Heart, the first demo tape released. The songs reflect influences such as Iron Maiden, Metallica, Helloween, Judas Priest, Megadeth, Racer-X, Manowar and Dream Theater. A few years later, in 99, a tour across Europe presents Against the Faceless to Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, Czech Republic, and Poland. After the release of Defying the Rules, HIBRIA was recognized as the most promising new band for members of the Swedish power metal band HammerFall.
Crossing oceans, HIBRIA’s heavy metal reached the Asian continent. In 2008, The Skull Collectors reach the top sales in Japan, and in 2010 it was the first Brazilian band to perform in China.
One of the most important moments in the band’s career was the opening show on Metallica’s tour in Porto Alegre, in 2010. Share the stage with their idols, in HIBRIA’s hometown was a great achievement that would be repeated in 2013. The Monster Tour was epic: HIBRIA, Megadeath and Black Sabbath.
